Camera upgrades include 4K FHD (+$250) or 3-channel front, rear and interior coverage (+$350). Mobile installation (+$100), a 128GB card (+$75) and 48-hour priority installation (+$125) are optional. Your full total is shown before you pay.
Will it fit my vehicle?
The package is intended for all makes and models, including cars, SUVs, trucks, EVs and hybrids. We confirm equipment compatibility and the installation method for your specific vehicle when scheduling. If the installer cannot complete the booked service, we’ll discuss an alternative or refund services that cannot be provided.
Please include any unusual vehicle details in your booking notes when arranging the installation.
Which dashcam model will I receive?
The standard package uses a Thinkware Q2000 2K front + rear camera system with a 32GB card. You can select 4K FHD front + rear recording or a 3-channel front, rear and interior setup during booking. The images on this page are illustrations, and the supplied model may differ.
Who supplies and installs my dashcam?
Products are supplied, sold and installed by Vancouver Dash Cam Ltd, using certified and insured installers. Payment is processed through Vancouver Dash Cam Ltd's Stripe account.
Will hardwiring affect my vehicle warranty?
Vancouver Dash Cam Ltd uses vehicle-appropriate hardwiring methods designed to preserve factory electrical systems and avoid unnecessary permanent modifications. Installations include a 2-year parts-and-labour warranty from Vancouver Dash Cam Ltd.
What happens after I pay?
Vancouver Dash Cam Ltd contacts you using the details you provided to confirm your vehicle and arrange an installation date, time and location. If you paid a deposit, the remaining balance shown in your booking, including applicable taxes, is due before installation. If you paid in full, there is no remaining balance for the package and upgrades you selected.
How soon can I get installed, and how long does it take?
Appointments depend on technician availability. Installation time varies by vehicle; we’ll confirm the expected duration when scheduling.
Need it sooner? The optional $125 priority upgrade requests installation within 48 hours, subject to availability. If an eligible appointment cannot be offered within that window, we’ll offer another appointment or refund the upgrade fee.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment have a $50 fee for shop installs or a $100 fee for mobile installs, deducted from the amount paid.
Rescheduling is subject to availability. Please give as much notice as possible. Read the full cancellation and rescheduling terms.
